About Us
The Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was chartered in 1953 inside the Mayor of Hartford’s old residence. The house, built in 1865, is still home to the brothers of Epsilon Alpha chapter, though there have been many renovations in and outside of the residence, the building’s structure and facade remain the same. The building is three stories of red brick with a full kitchen, living room, pool room, and brother room, which is only accessible to Epsilon Alpha’s members. During the school year the building houses seven to eight members with one triple, one double, and three large single rooms.
Brothers regularly give to charities and volunteer for certain causes, such as Relay for Life, which all brothers of Epsilon Alpha attend every year. Two other charities we support are The Prouty, a yearly fundraiser for cancer research, and David’s House, which offers housing for children and families with children who are going through certain treatments at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
The Brothers of Epsilon Alpha at Trinity College are very involve on campus. Members of Epsilon Alpha are frequently part of varsity athletics, student government, Trinity Tripod, Inter-Greek Council, admissions council, investment club, and honor societies. Currently Epsilon Alpha holds the highest cumulative GPA among all fraternities at Trinity College.
